ASA/UKCC level 1 Award for Teaching Aquatics (QCF) – August 2011
"Without exception everyone enjoyed the practical teaching sessions. Not enough time was spent on stroke techniques, faults and corrections. Ray Lau, course tutor, responded, “Stroke faults, causes and corrections are not covered in depth on level 1 courses, this is covered in detail on Level 2 courses.”
ASA/UKCC level 2 Certificate for Teaching Aquatics (QCF) – July 2011
"Really fab training, wish I'd know Ray (course tutor) when doing my Level 1, it would have been a much better grounding. My confidence has soared. The practical teaching element was brilliant. Great ideas for future plans.
Didn't expect to receive all the resources received as part of the course"
By email "Thanks for all your input and help you were brilliant to work with. When I went back to work they asked who my tutor was and when I said Ray Lau they replied 'you had the best tutor you're very lucky.”

"
ASA/UKCC Level 2 Certificate for Teaching Aquatics (QCF) – February 2011
"I had to organise an exemption, both Ray and Sally were brilliant with flexibility. The Level
2 text book is out of date
We followed this up with the ASA Awarding Body who has acknowledged that books are not reflective of the current course.
With the new QCF qualifications we are moving away from text book support courses and we do and will be providing other more relevant resources to support your course. The books provided do though have some very good information on all of the strokes.
The tutor was awesome!"

"The course was very enjoyable. I found not doing exams was better for me and I felt I learnt more about faults and corrections as the strokes were explained in more detail.
The task based assessments really made me think and were more personalised to my style
Course booking was easy and efficient. The tutors skills and knowledge were exceptional. I feel a lot more confident with a wider range of abilities.
Would recommend this course to a friend"
NRASTC – Staines Swimming Club, September 2010
"Very well run and useful course. Discussions in to first aid and risk assessment were extremely useful"
ASA/UKCC Level 1 Certificate for Teaching Aquatics – August 2010
"The course was well planned and structured.
Fantastic course, fantastic teacher!
I thought this was run really well and I look forward to my Level 2 with Ray!
The pool was a bit shallow for more advanced swimmers.
This was the first time we had used this venue. The class room facilities were excellent and in the same building as the swimming pool. We recognised that this pool was suitable for teaching swimming and for Level 1 courses only but more advanced swimmers and for Level 2 courses this facility would not be adequate."
