Thank you for your interest in taking the SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming qualification.

 

Swim England Qualifications (SEQ) are currently reviewing and updating this qualification with a launch during late quarter 1 2026.

 

At the moment we are not able to confirm the exact dates of the course are until we have the final course requirements or the pricing structure.

 

What we do know about the new qualification:

 

•  Pre-requistes are changing - you can now go straight to the SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming without holding the SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant qualification. The SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant will still be available to those who only want to take this qualification or to gain experience prior to completing the SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming.
Entry age is still 16 on the first day of the course

•  Cost - will be no more than £700 - our current price for a SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming qualification

•  Dates and times - these will be set once the full qualification specification has been released and will likely be less than the 8 days advertised, but will run within the dates advertised
