Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work
It is a requirement of health and safety law that employers should provide a safe and healthy environment for their employees. If your assessment of first aid needs highlights a requirement for qualified first aiders then this Level 3 qualification will provide you with suitably trained and qualified personnel.
This course for first time candidates is 18 hours or 3 days in duration. For those renewing the qualification it is 12 hours or 2 days in duration.
The qualification is valid for 3 years and must be renewed within the validity period of the certificate.
Assessment is ongoing throughout the course and carried out by the course trainer and multiple choice question papers.
Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work
It is a requirement of health and safety law that employers should provide a safe and healthy environment for their employees. If your assessment of first aid needs identifies a requirement for emergency first aiders then this Level 2 qualification will provide you with suitably trained and qualified personnel.
This course is 6 hours or 1 day in duration.
The qualification is valid for 3 years and must be renewed within the validity period of the certificate.
Assessment is ongoing throughout the course and carried out by the course trainer and through a multiple choice question paper.
Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid
This is a 2-day paediatric first aid course designed for those who work professionally with children or infants eg childminder, nursery, teacher, teaching assistant etc. The qualification fully covers the requirements of OFSTED and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
This course is 12 hours or 2 days in duration
This qualification is valid for 3 years
Assessment is ongoing throughout the course and carried out by the course trainer and through a multiple choice question paper
Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
This is a 1-day paediatric emergency first aid course designed for those who have an interest in child and infant basic life support.
If you are working professionally with children or infants eg childminder, nursery, teacher, teaching assistant etc, this course does not fully cover the requirements of OFSTED and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). In order to meet these requirement you will need to complete the full Level 2 Award in Paediatric First Aid
This course is 6 hours or 1 day in duration
This certificate of this unit is valid for 3 years
Assessment is ongoing throughout the course and carried out by the course trainer and through a multiple choice question paper
Emergency Response
This is a short course that will enable candidates to deal with an unresponsive casualty who is breathing or an unresponsive casualty that is not breathing.
This course is 3 hours in duration
Assessment is ongoing throughout the course by the trainer
